Pte. Edward Smitham, the eldest son of Sgt. George Edward Smitham (see 20th June), serving with 83rd Company, Labour Corps in France, departed on two weeks’ leave to England.
Payment of a £21 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late CSM Joseph Bona (see 22nd April 1918), who had been killed in action in October 1917; the payment would go to his father, Thomas.
Payment of a £7 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. John Robert Camm (see 22nd July 1919), who had been killed in action in September 1917; the payment would go to his father, George.
Payment of a £6 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Henry Leech (see 29th April 1918), who had been killed in action in October 1917; the payment would go to his widow, Harriett.
