Saturday 15th November 1919


Pte. John Oldfield Greenwood (see 31st July), who had been serving in France with 301 Prisoner of War Company, was formally transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z.

Payment of a £15 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Sgt. George Peacock (see 22nd January 1918), who had died of wounds in June 1917; the payment would go to his mother, Jane.

Payment of a £13 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Sgt. Herbert Veal (see 2nd May 1917) who had died of wounds following the German shelling of the Battalion billets in Ypres in January 1917; the payment would go to his mother, Sarah.

Payment of an £11 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Arthur Cawley (see 14th May 1918), who had been killed in action in October 1917; the payment would go to his mother, Mary.

Payment of a £14 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Joseph William Henley (see 24th April 1918) who had been killed in action in October 1917; the payment would go to his widow, Lilian.

Payment of a £3 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Lewis Lunn (see 8th April 1918), who had died of wounds in September 1917; the payment would go to his Gertrude, for herself and her son, Stanley.

Payment of a £4 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Clifford Mackrell (see 15th November 1918), who had been officially missing in action since October 1917; the payment would go to his father, Samuel.

Payment of a £3 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Harold Oliver (see 23rd January 1918), who had been killed in action in September 1917; the payment would go to his mother, Martha.

Payment of a £3 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Willie Priestley (see 15th April 1918), who had been killed in action on 20th September 1917; the payment would go to his widow, Lilian.

Payment of a £4 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Harry Stillwell (see 20th March 1918), who had been killed in action in September 1917; the payment would go to his widow, Ada.

Payment of a £3 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. John Richard Thornton (see 30th May 1917) who had been killed in action in October 1916; the payment would go to his father, Ramoth.
