Monday 17th November 1919


Payment of a £17 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Sgt. Ernest Nussey (see 27th March 1918), who had been killed in action in September 1917; the payment would go to his father, Thomas.

Payment of a £14 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Cpl. William Henry Scott (see 5th December 1917), who had died of wounds in June 1917; the payment would go to his widow, Susannah.

Payment of a £14 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Joseph Crabtree (see 20th November 1917), who had died of wounds in November 1917 while serving with 2nd/5thDWR; the payment would go to his sole legatee, Mrs. Charlotte Wilkinson.

Payment of a £5 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. William Currey (see 28th March 1917) who had been killed in action in October 1916; the payment would go to his brother, Charles.

Payment of a £14 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. John Driver (see 11th May 1918), who had been killed in action in October 1917; the payment would go to his widow, Mabel.

Payment of a £9 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. William Greenwood (see 5th February), who had been killed in action in May 1917 while serving with 2DWR; the payment would go to his his mother, Sarah Ann.

Payment of a £14 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. George King (16475) (see 10th May 1918), who had been killed in action in October 1917; the payment would go to his married sister, Elizabeth S. Green.

Payment of a £4 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Ernest Needham (see 30th August 1918), who had been officially presumed killed in action since September 1917; the payment would go to his father, Matthew.

Payment of a £14 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Herbert Ridley (see 10th October) who had been killed in action in March 1918 while serving in France with 5DWR; the payment would go to his widow, Ellen.

Payment of a £4 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Edwin Waterworth (see 18th February 1918) who had been killed in action in September 1917 while attached to 69th Brigade Trench Mortar Battery; the payment would go to his cousin and sole legatee, Mrs. Ada Smith.
