Ptes. Joseph Hadley
(see 29th November) and George Mather (see 26th April) were reported by Cpl. William McGill (see 4th November) for ‘smoking on parade at 11.30am’; on
the orders of Capt. Dick Bolton MC (see 2nd December) both would
be confined to barracks for five days.
Pte. George William Ball (see 1st
November) was discharged from 16th Convalescent Depot in
Marseilles and posted to “Caesar’s Camp” at Arquata Scrivia.
2Lt. Joseph Barrett
Hartley MC (see 19th
November) reported to 3rd (Reserve) Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers
at Limerick.

Clara Palmer, widow of 2Lt. Albert Edgar Palmer (see 27th
September), who had been killed in action on 27th September
while serving in France with 8th West Yorks, secured a grant of
probate for the administration of his estate, which was valued at £200 5s. 1d..
