Wednesday 12th March 1919

Billets at Montecchia di Crosara

Pte. Nathaniel Bather (see 13th February) was appointed Acting Corporal, whilst serving at no.9 Rest Camp at Faenza, south-east of Bologna; the details of this posting are unknown.
Pte. Charles Sidney Taylor (see 18th February), serving with 8th Yorks. and Lancs., was appointed (unpaid) Lance Corporal.
Pte. Mark Beaumont (see 17th February), who was stationed in Malta where he had been serving with 1st Garrison Btn, Northumberland Fusiliers, was posted to England for demobilization.
Pte. Bertie Cox (see 26th February), who was on leave in England, was officially struck off the strength of 10DWR. However, he would still return to Italy, and would be posted to the GHQ Concentration Camp at Tavernelle.
Ptes. Joseph Blackburn (29722) (see 9th February), Garibaldi Edwin Dawson (see 9th February), George Drake (see 25th February 1918), Joseph Holmes (see 9th February) and George Edward Verity (see 12th September 1914) were officially transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z.

Ptes. Frederick Fuller (see 24th June 1917) and Thomas Grady (see 28th October 1917) who had been serving with the Labour Corps, were also officially transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z.
Pte. George Liversley Smith was also officially transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z; he had been an original member of 10DWR but at some point (date and details unknown) had been transferred to the Labour Corps. In the absence of a surviving service record I am unable to make a positive identification of this man or establish any details of his service.
