Front line trenches near Zouave Wood (I.18.a.5.7. to I.18.c.4.7)

After another quiet day, in the evening the Battalion was relieved by 11^th West Yorks and took over their billets in the Infantry Barracks in Ypres.

L.Cpl. John Henry Eastwood (see 16^th September), serving at 34^th Infantry Base Depot at Etaples, was transferred to the Non Combatant Corps and posted to 3^rd Eastern Company at Les Attaques.


Pte. Arthur Hodgson (see 24^th September), who had been in England since September having been wounded, was posted to 83^rd Training Reserve Battalion at Gateshead.
