Friday 16th August 1918


Billets at San Donna Camisino.


Ptes. Joseph Hadley (see 9th August) and William Hutchinson (see 2nd August), who had been late reporting back from leave, re-joined the Battalion.

Lt. Cyril William Wildy (see 24th July), who had been posted back to England three weeks’ previously, reported for duty on an officer training class at the Signal Service Training Centre in Bedford.

Ptes. Harry Crawshaw (see 14th May) and James Kilburn (see 13th July), both of whom had been treated at the Camp Hospital at Northern Command Depot at Ripon, were discharged; they would have one weeks’ leave before reporting to 3DWR at North Shields.

Pte. James Wilson (see 23rd July), serving with 728th Employment Company, based at Hitchin, Herts., was admitted to the Union Hospital, Hitchin, suffering from a recurrence of the symptoms of malaria.
