was promoted Sergeant and appointed Battalion Gas Sergeant.
Pte. Martin Jackson
(see 5th July 1917) was
appointed (unpaid) Lance Corporal.
Ptes. John Charles
Clarke (see 9th June) and
Reginald Dayson (see 9th May) were admitted
via 69th Field Ambulance to 23rd Division Rest Station
suffering from diarrhoea; Clarke would be discharged to duty after five days
and Dayson after seven days.
Pte. George Bernard
Hardy (see 27th May),
serving in France with 2DWR, was discharged from hospital and re-joined his
Battalion; he had been suffering from boils.
A payment of £9 17s. 7d. was authorised, being the amount
due in pay and allowances to the late Pte. John
Edward Scott (see 25th
March) who had been killed in action on 25th March while serving
with 2nd/7th DWR; the payment would go to his widow, Ethel.
