AUSTWICK
Home on leave
Signaller A.H. Procter, of the 10th Battalion
Duke of Wellington’s Regiment, and youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Procter, of
Craig Bank, Eldroth, was home last week on short furlough. Signaller Procter
enlisted in September 1914 and after training in England until August 1915 was
drafted out with his regiment to France. He took part in the bombardment of
Loos, and also has been in other engagements, and has fortunately come through
without any injuries.
