L.Cpl. John Jackson (19555) (see 27th August), serving
with 8th Yorks. and Lancs. at Fiume, was reported as ‘absent from
his billet from 9pm until 9.30pm’; he would be ordered to be deprived of seven
days’ pay.
Payment of an £11 10s. war gratuity was authorised in
respect of the late Sgt. Arthur Bearpark
(see 27th March 1917) who
had been killed in action in October 1916; the payment would go to his father,
William.
Payment of a £3 war gratuity was authorised in respect of
the late Pte. Harry Briggs (16040) (see
29th September 1916), who had been killed in action in March; the
payment would go to his widow, Ada.
