L.Cpl. Fred Oldroyd (see 18^th February), serving in Fiume with 8^th Yorks. and Lancs., was promoted Acting Sergeant.

Pte. Joseph Leeming Hatton (see 26^th February), serving in France with 258^th Area Employment Company, Labour Corps, departed for England on two weeks’ leave.

Pte. Franklin Colbeck (see 24^th January), who had been formally transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z in January, was married at the Parish Church in Mirfield to Elsie Parkinson; since leaving the Army Pte. Colbeck had resumed his civilian occupation as a coal miner.
