Cpl. Victor Race MM (see 4^th March) and Ptes. Albert Edward Victor Harris (see 18^th February), John Walter Jennings (see 18^th February), Lancelot Johnson (see 18^th February) and Albert Stanley (see 18^th February), serving with 8^th Yorks. and Lancs. at Fiume, departed for England on two weeks’ leave.

Cpl. Albert George Ashton (see 10^th September 1917) was formally transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z; having been found to be suffering from ‘defective vision, aggravated by active service’, he was assessed as having a 20% disability and awarded an Army pension of 6s. per week.

Pte. William Douglas (see 10^th April) was also officially transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z.
