In billets at Casa Dal Cin on the Pianzano to Baver road.
Starting out at 9.40am, the Battalion marched seven miles
south-west, via San Fior di Sotto, Zoppe and Ramera, to billets at Borgo Villa.

(see 5th October) was
promoted Acting Sergeant.
Ptes. Reginald James
Nosworthy (see 21st August)
and John Chadwick Taylor (see 9th August) were posted
from the Convalescent Depot at Lido d’Albano to the Base Depot at Arquata Scrivia.
Pte. Samuel Richards (see 2nd
November) was posted from the Convalescent Depot at Lido d’Albano to
“Caesar’s Camp” at Arquata Scrivia.
Cpl. Alfred Bradbury
(see 3rd November) and Ptes.
Sidney John Rainbow (see 18th October) and William Shirtcliffe Mallinson (see 13th October) were
evacuated to England, travelling onboard the Hospital Ship Formosa. Cpl. Bradbury would spend some time (details unknown) at Wharncliffe
War Hospital, Sheffield, while Pte. Rainbow would be admitted to hospital in
Birkenhead; the details of Pte. Mallinson’s treatment are unknown.
Pte. Patrick Sweeney
(see 28th November), who
was imprisoned at 7th Military Prison at Les Attaques near Calais
having been convicted of desertion and sentenced to 15 years’ penal servitude,
was admitted to 30th General Hospital in Calais; his condition was
described simply as “N.Y.D.” (not yet diagnosed).
Pte. Charley Norman
(see 21st January), who
had been in England since having suffered severe wounds on 7th June
1917, including a compound fracture of his left forearm and injuries to his
shoulder, was posted to 3DWR at North Shields.
Cpl. William Foulds
(see 13th October) was
discharged from West Cliffe Auxiliary Hospital, Hythe, and granted one weeks’
sick leave before reporting to the Regimental Depot in Halifax.
Pte. Bertie
Constantine (see 10th
September), who had been in England since having been wounded in April
while serving in France with 1st/7thDWR, was formally
discharged from the Army as no longer physically fit for service on account of
his wounds; he was awarded an Army pension of 13s. 9d. per week.
