Tunstill's Company remained in training at Bramshott.

L.Cpl. Fred Angus (see 1^st May) was reported by Cpl. John Knowles (see 8^th July) as having failed to return on time from his embarkation leave; he would report for duty at reveille on 18^th August. On the orders of Lt.Col. Bartholomew he would be deprived of his Lance Corporal’s rank; forfeit four days’ pay and be confined to barracks for four days.
