Pte. Walter Ralph (see 18^th September), serving in England with the West Yorkshire Regiment, was formally transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z; he was the elder brother of Pte. Kit Ralph (see 30^th April 1917) who had been killed in action in October 1916.

Payment of a £15 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the the late Cpl. Thomas Lloyd (see 1^st May), who had been killed in action in October 1918 while serving in France with 1^st/7^th DWR; the payment would go to his adoptive mother, Mrs. Marian Bottomley, who was his sole residual legatee (presumably his brother, Charles, had died in the previous seven months).

Payment of a £3 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. Ernest Hardcastle (see 6^th February 1918), who had been killed in action in September 1917; the payment would go to his father, John.

Payment of an £18 10s. war gratuity was authorised in respect of the the late Pte. Harry Jackson (10796) (see 22^nd April 1918), who had been killed in action in October 1917. Although he had served under the name ‘Harry Jackson’, his real name had in fact been Morris Kayles and the payment would go to his father, Israel Kayles.

Payment of a £19 war gratuity was authorised in respect of the late Pte. William Northrop (see 21^st May), who had been killed in action in August 1918; the payment would go to his widow, Sarah Anne.
