Pte. John Whitham (see 20^th March), who had returned to England after serving in India with 1^st Garrison Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment, was formally transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z.


A pension award was made in the case of the late Pte. Bramwell Thompson (see 27^th October 1918), who had been officially reported ‘missing in action’ in action in October 1918; his mother, Sarah, was awarded 8s. per week.
