Billets at Grumolo and Montecchia di Crosara

L.Sgt. George Alma Cook (see 25th December 1918) was evacuated to England from 62nd General Hospital in Marseilles onboard the Hospital Ship St. Patrick; on arrival in England he would be admitted to Connaught Hospital, Aldershot.

Sgt. Wilfred Fletcher (see 24th December 1918), who had been evacuated to England two weeks’ previously, was admitted to Cambridge Hospital, Aldershot.

Capt. Hugh William Lester MC (see 23rd December 1918), who was on leave in England while serving in France as Brigade Major to 11th Infantry Brigade, was formally demobilized from the army from the Officer’s Dispersal Unit in London. Two days later he, along with his wife Marjorie Elizabeth, who was pregnant with their first child, sailed from Liverpool for Melbourne; they were to settle in Mansfield, Victoria, where Capt.
