Pte. Harry Jackson (24186) (see 11^th January) was discharged from hospital in Eastleigh; he would have ten days’ leave before reporting to 3DWR at North Shields.

Lt. Philip Howard Morris (see 15^th November 1918) and 2Lt. John William Pontefract (see 19^th December 1918), serving with 3DWR at North Shields, were formally released from the army.


Pte. George Hudson (see 6^th October 1916), who had been serving with the South Notts. Hussars, was formally discharged from the Army as ‘surplus to military requirements (not having suffered impairment since entering the service); he was, however, also awarded the Silver War Badge.
