Orders were received for the Battalion to relieve 2nd
Northants in the left sub-sector of the Bois Grenier Line on the evening of the
6th. Battalion orders were issued giving details of the schedule for
the relief. More heavy rain fell through the evening and overnight.
L.Cpl. Christopher
John Kelly (see 15th April);
was promoted Corporal, following the promotion of George Liddemore the previous day.
CQMS Andrew Hermiston
(see 29th July) departed
for England on leave; his wife, May, was heavily pregnant with their second
child.
