Saturday 14th November 1914

Tunstill's Company remained in training at Frensham.

Pte. Benjamin Fawcett was reported by Cpl. McGrath and two Military Police Officers as having been, “Absent from fatigue at 11.30 am. Quitting camp without a pass and found in the Holly Bush Public House (in Farnham) at 12 noon. Being in possession of a pass belonging to another soldier”. On the orders of Col. Crawford he would be confined to barracks for ten days. Benjamin Fawcett was a 34 year-old labourer from Bradford..
