Winnipeg Camp

Training continued.
L.Cpl. Percy Simpson (see 24th May) departed for England on ten days’ leave.

Pte. Hubert Crabtree (see 8th September) was posted from 83rd Training Reserve Battalion, based at Gateshead to join 3DWR at North Shields.

L.Cpl. Maurice Bannister (see 9th October), who had been in hospital in England (details unknown) since having been wounded in October, was transferred from Holton House Auxiliary Hospital, Altrincham to Keighley War Hospital.


A payment of £14 13s. 4d. was authorised, being the amount outstanding in pay and allowances to the late Pte. Fred Mouatt (see 29th July), who had died of wounds on 31st July. The payment would go to his father, John.
