Sunday 20th August 1916

Reserve trenches south-west of Ploegsteert Wood

Conditions remained as for the previous day.




Capt. George Reginald Charles Heale MC (see 18th August) was evacuated to England from Boulogne admitted to the Kitchener Hospital in Brighton for treatment to the boils to his neck which had been troubling him for the previous few weeks.

Ptes. Patrick Conley (see 14th August) and John Onion (see 31st July) were posted from the Regimental Depot at Halifax to 11DWR at Brocton Camp, Cannock Chase.
