Tunstill's Company remained in training at Bramshott.

In anticipation of a forthcoming order to go overseas, Divisional orders for leave were issued to the Battalion; all officers and men were to be granted one week’s leave, staggered over the next month, with all leave to be completed by 19^th August. It was reported that Maj. Genl. Babington had received definitive orders but that the orders were not yet otherwise known.
