There was a Brigade Church Parade and time allowed for rest.
Pte. George Albert Wright (see 19th
April), serving at 23rd Infantry Base Depot at Etaples, departed
for England on one weeks’ leave.
Pte. Eli Bradley
(see 12th June) was evacuated
to England from 6th General Hospital in Rouen; he would travel
onboard the Hospital Ship St. David. Having arrived in England he would be
admitted to the Military Hospital in York, where he would be re-diagnosed as
suffering from neurasthenia.
