10DWR remained in training in Folkestone.

Pte. Edward Anderson (see below) was reported for “not complying with an order”; on the orders of Capt. John Atkinson (see 17^th October 1914) he would be confined to barracks for five days.

Edward Anderson was a 27 year-old firer from Heckmondwike; he was married with one daughter. 

Pte. John Henshall (see 8^th February) was sentenced to 14 days’ detention; the nature of his offence is unknown.
