Eastwood Wilkinson (see 30^th August 1918), who had been discharged from the Army due to wounds in November 1917, appeared before a further Medical Board in connection with his Army pension; the Board reported that, “Complains of weakness in right hand; little finger has been amputated at media-carpal phalangeal joint. Stump well healed; slightly tender; grip good”. His level of disability was reassessed as being less than 20% and likely to last less than 12 months; he was accordingly allowed a final gratuity payment of £27 10s. in lieu of any further pension payments.
