Monday 14th July 1919

Sgt. Thomas Flaxington (see 24th June 1917), who had been serving with the Labour Corps (it is not known when he had been promoted), was formally transferred to the Army Reserve Class Z. Within months of leaving the Army Thomas Flaxington emigrated to the USA. He would be followed a few months later by his wife and daughter and the family would set up home in Rhode Island.
