Billets at Cornedo Vicentino.
Pte. Reginald Dayson (see 5th May), who had a string of earlier offences on his record, was reported by Sgt. Middleton Busfield (see 5th May) and 2Lt. Keith Sagar Bain (see 16th April) for “committing a civil offence, ie. stealing”; he would be tried and found guilty by Field General Court Martial and sentenced to 90 days’ Field Punishment no.1.
Pte. Robert Clarke (see 21st January) was reported by Sgt. Harry Holmes MM (see 20th March) and 2Lt. Keith Sagar Bain (see 9th May) for “insolence to an NCO”; on the orders of Maj. William Norman Town (see 5th May) he would undergo seven days’ Field Punishment no.2.
Pte. Frank Wood MM (see 21st March) was reported by Cpl. Alfred Frankland (see 20th March) as having been “absent from roll call 9pm until reporting 10.05pm”; he would be ordered to be confined to barracks for five days.
