L. Cpl George Liddemore (see 9^th July) was admitted to Frensham Hall Hospital, suffering from synovitis (inflammation of a joint).

At home in Bradford, Christopher Steward jnr., son of Pte. Christopher Steward (see 27^th May) died, aged two months.
