Service rifles at last having been issued to the Battalion (see 7^th June), the pace of training now quickened further and the author of the 10^th Battalion Memoir later recalled that, “half the Battalion at a time went to Longmoor to fire the Musketry course and, until the middle of August, we were very busy with musketry and final divisional field days”.
