Corporal Edgar Shuttleworth (see 6^th April) who had originally served with Tunstill’s Company before being transferred to ‘D’ Company was reprimanded by Lt. Col. Bartholomew for, ‘neglect of duty when Acting Company Orderly Sergeant’; his conduct having been witnessed and reported by 2Lt. Taylor and Lance Corporal Simpson.

Pte. Harry Horner (see 21^st September 1914) was reported by Sgt. Pollard as ‘late falling in for parade at 7am’; on the orders of Capt. Gilbert Tunstill (see 8^th May), he was confined to barracks for three days.
