Tuesday 1st December 1914

The whole Battalion, including Tunstill’s Company, at last left Frensham to march the seven miles to their winter quarters at Oudenarde Barracks, North Camp, Aldershot. The Battalion shared its barracks with 11^th West Yorkshires.
 

Lance Corporal William Jones (see 4^th November), one of Tunstill’s most-experienced ex-regulars, was promoted Corporal.
